DIVINE MERCY REFLECTION 81: Power and Mercy
Imagine a dictator of a country who has absolute power and is also a very angry, malicious and vengeful man. This is not someone you would want to upset. Now imagine the opposite. Imagine one who has absolute power and is also blessed with a heart of pure Mercy. This is our God. And in addition to our God having these qualities, He passes them on to His Mother. She is Queen and exercises her queenship with great authority. But it’s an authority that is expressed in perfect Mercy. We should always trust in the power of God as it is made manifest through the mediation of our Mother of Mercy (See Diary #330).

Saturday of the Fourth Week of Lent
Some in the crowd who heard these words of Jesus said, “This is truly the Prophet.” Others said, “This is the Christ.” But others said, “The Christ will not come from Galilee, will he? Does not Scripture say that the Christ will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?” So a division occurred in the crowd because of him. John 7:40–43
Today’s Gospel takes place on the last and greatest day of the Feast of Tabernacles, also known as the Feast of Booths. This annual celebration was one of three major feasts when many Jews made a pilgrimage to the Temple.
